Saint Therese Orphanage in quartier Obili – Yaoundé, Cameroon was founded in 2003.
The Orphanage is owned and run by the Sisters of the Catholic Religious Congregation known as “ SŒURS MISSIONNAIRES DE LA RESURRECTION”.

Since its foundation, the Orphanage operates in the Obili neighborhood in Yaoundé, Centre Region of Cameroon.

The children in this Orphanage are from diverse backgrounds including: orphans, HIV/AIDS orphans, abandoned children, children from handicap (dumb and blind) parents.

   The Missionary Sisters of the Resurrection are bringing God's love to under-privileged children at the Saint Therese Orphanage in Obili Parish.

There are about 22 children at the moment but their doors are opened at every moment to welcome new children as it is the case quite often.

They also depend on the generosity of many benefactors to be able to take care of the children.

The Sisters started a pre-school at the orphanage at the beginning of the 2011/12 academic year. Some children from outside the orphanage also attend the school.

These children have different needs such as; medical care, school fees, school materials, food supply, other basic needs and also your prayers.
